Avnet Inc is one of the largest distributors of electronic components, including connectors and semiconductors; technology solutions, computer products and embedded technology. Avnet connects the world’s leading technology manufacturers with a broad base of more than 100,000 customers by providing cost-effective value-added services and solutions.
The Challenge
We were looking for an IT Telemarketing company who understood the solutions we offered and were able to bring these into the marketplace without constant support from us.
Business Relationship
We have been working with IT Focus Telemarketing since early 2012 and have completed around 17 campaigns to date with many more in the pipeline. We initially started using IT Focus to help drive delegates to some of the many events we hold on an annual basis. These are normally partner led, and aimed at D/C level contacts. We were very impressed, not only by IT Focus’ level of understanding when it comes to the business connotations of attending, but also their knowledge of the technology backing these events.
Benefits
We quickly noticed the potential in IT Focus and went on to run a number of very successful appointment setting campaigns for our vendor teams. These ranged from; strategic partner recruitment for Juniper, who are one of our complex network specialists, and involved a number of in depth qualifying questions, to a high level lead generation campaign around the benefits of a multi-vendor network.
The Future
We have continued to be pleased with IT Focus’ attitude and ability when it comes to the telemarketing and lead generation campaigns that we have presented to them, and we continue to be impressed with the level of detail that they can go into on a call and relay back to us effectively.James and his team’s ability to adapt quickly and take everything in their stride is one of the biggest attributes as to why we feel we have found our perfect partner for Telemarketing.
